Felipe has over 15 years of experience in structural engineering with a wide range of projects that include; schools, office condos, office warehouse, hotels, apartments, industrial buildings, strip malls, custom and production homes.
Felipe is a pioneer in introducing Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) products to the United States. He has designed more structures using the innovative AAC products than any other firm in the United States.
He was a member of the American Standards for Testing Materials (ASTM) committees in charge of developing standards for AAC that include ASTM C1386 and C1555. He is a co-author of American Concrete Institute - ACI 530-05 (Masonry Code Book) and was a committee member of the Masonry Standard Joint Committee (MSJC) that was charged with the task of developing design procedures for AAC and incorporating them in to ACI 530-05. He also chaired the technical committee for the Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Product Association (AACPA) from 2004 to 2006.
