| Felipe has over 15 years of experience
in structural engineering with a wide range of projects
that include; schools, office condos, office warehouse,
hotels, apartments, industrial buildings, strip malls,
custom and production homes. |
| Felipe is a pioneer in introducing Autoclaved
Aerated Concrete (AAC) products to the United States.
He has designed more structures using the innovative AAC
products than any other firm in the United States. |
| He was a member of the American Standards
for Testing Materials (ASTM) committees in charge of developing
standards for AAC that include ASTM C1386 and C1555. He
is a co-author of American Concrete Institute - ACI 530-05
(Masonry Code Book) and was a committee member of the
Masonry Standard Joint Committee (MSJC) that was charged
with the task of developing design procedures for AAC
and incorporating them in to ACI 530-05. He also chaired
the technical committee for the Autoclaved Aerated Concrete
Product Association (AACPA) from 2004 to 2006. |
